Tri-Tec Seal, Inc. was founded in 1987, but our roots began in the early 1960's when Steve Sekulich, a founder of Tri-Tec Seal, became one of the first to recognize the benefits of PTFE material for rotary shaft seals.

During the years that followed, Steve became a recognized pioneer of PTFE lip seal solutions for many applications. In 1974, he formed Sealcomp, which he later sold to the Fluorocarbon Corporation in 1982. After several years with Fluorocarbon, Steve and his son, Brad, formed Tri-Tec Seal.

Today, Tri-Tec Seal, Inc. is a market leader in custom-engineered, PTFE-based lip seal solutions.
